VINAKOPER. CAPRIS NOBLE RED 2005

Capris Noble Red wine is made of varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Refosco. It has a dark ruby red colour, recalling ripe sour cherries. It is distinguished by a complex bouquet in full blossom, recalling berries. Its palate is delicate, full and hearty. The Refosco variety gives it an excellent aging capacity and elegance.

The cellar of Vinakoper was made in 1947. Vinakoper is a company with the largest proportion of its own vineyards (almost 600 ha). At different wine-growing sites, ranging from the Adriatic to outskirts of Istria, they very successfully grow autochthonous varieties such as Refosco, Malvasia and Yellow Muscat, which are characteristic of this area. Known for their outstanding quality are the wines from the Gastronomic line Capris, as well as prestigious wines from the Capo d'Istria line which are aged in barrique barrels. Tradition and deep understanding of local Istrian characteristics are successfully combined with state-of-the-art wine making technology.
