Near future. Thanks to a special Personality Transfer procedure, eternal youth is available to everyone who is wealthy enough to afford it. After visiting a special clinic, elderly German couple Hermann and Anna obtains new, perfectly functioning bodies of a young African couple. But things don’t go as planned…

With its mature approach and bitter social commentary, Transfer takes a very special place in contemporary Science Fiction production. It is based on a story from award winning sci-fi author Elia Barcelo and has already received numerous awards, most recently at BIFFF in Brussels. Director Damir Lukacevic  has received the German Film Award in Gold for his short film Foreign Homeland (Fremde Heimat) in 1996. His feature debut Going Home (Heimkehr) won the Ver.di-award for Best Director and the Geneva-Europe Screenplay Award in 2003.
