| Shock Corridor covers all aspects of film shock. The show presents excerpts from various cult, controversial, spicy and exotic, as well as famous live-action and animated films, series, music videos that in one way or another represent something that we could call visual shock. Already while it was still regularly aired on TV Art, an idea of presenting the same concept in front of a live audience came to life. Besides appearances at various film festivals (including Grossmann, of course) and art events, Shock Corridor organizes regular debates at Dom Omladine in Beograd. Since 2009 it also regularly appears in the Yellow Cab magazine. This year, Shock Corridor will focus on the theme of vampires. Are they real or only a myth? How many kinds of them is there? In how many different ways can they suck blood? How to kill them if they cross your path? Or would you join them? Most of the fans of this genre are secretly wishing to become one of the children of the night. By showing various film clips, Nenad Bekvalac and Aleksandar Radivojević will guide you through the world cinema. They will try to avoid well-known films, in hope of introducing you to some unrevealed cult classics and new hopes of vampire cinema. |
