It features interviews with Dušan Makavejev, Živojin Pavlović, Saša Petrović, Želimir Žilnik, Lazar Stojanović, Gordan Mihić, Branko Vučićević, Tomislav Gotovac, Karpo Godina, Bato Čengić, Puriša Ðordević and Slobodan Šijan as well as with film theorists and critics who join them in the analysis of the ideological madness that put an end to many important film careers. The documentary was filmed on authentic locations where the Dark Wave films were shot. It also contains vast amounts of archive footage. Milan Nikodijević is a freelance journalist who already in 1995 published the monography Censored without Censorship which contained interviews with 11 film makers. He is also director of the Festival of Film Script in Vrnjačka Banja an a member of FIPRESCI Serbia. |
