MKNŽ club in Ilirska Bistrica is a home to alternative culture since 1966. With numerous interviews (with the author of monography on MKNŽ, former and current president, two long-time collaborators, as well as with bands Demolition Group and Incurabili), accompanied by photographic and video footage, the documentary unravels the history of this legendary club. Featuring mostly rock, hardcore punk and other bands that have played there through the years, the film deals with the question of what is the fate of a subculture which is, with the passing of time, always in »danger« of becoming mainstream, and thus be replaced by another subculture. The documentary was made to commemorate the club's 45th anniversary.
