| In order to avoid his prison sentence, young martial arts specialist Joe Armstrong finds himself on an American Army base in the Philippines. On one of his first missions his platoon is attacked by rebels. While all the other soldiers are killed, Joe manages to rescue the base colonel’s daughter from the rebels. Determined to destroy all who stand in his way, the rebel leader sends an army of ninja assassins to the base. First in the successful series of American Ninja films, followed by four sequels and worshipped by hordes of teenagers all around the world, this is one of Cannon’s greatest hits that instantly established Michael Dudikoff as an action star.
