| The water is tainted. The taint poisons the minds of men, turning them into raging misogynist monsters who want nothing more than to kill women. When society is transformed into a land of sadistic violence and horrible brutality, it is up to Phil O'Ginny and his female friend, Misandra, to combat the horrible evil that is the taint. The Taint is a low-budget orgy of violence, blood, splattered organs and cock explosions. Its anarchic attitude, irreverence, relentless gore and anything-but-serious approach bring to mind the most unbridled Troma titles. With their feature debut, Drew Bolduc and Dan Nelson provided a genuine underground splatter treat for the vintage trash connosieurs. |
