| Jiří Kajinek is serving a life sentence. He has escaped two times before, only to be found and brought back again. Together with his young lawyer he is trying to get his case re-opened. But the quest for truth turns out to be dangerous, and the lawyer will have to ask herself what it is that Kajinek is hiding from her and has never told anyone before. Based upon the real life story of the most famous Czech prisoner, Kajinek was one of the biggest hit films in Czech Republic in last few years, remaining No1 at the Czech box office for seven weeks after the release. The screenplay was co-written by Marek Dobeš, our old friend and collaborator since the very first edition of Grossmann in 2005, when he was presenting his zombie comedy Choking Hazard. It makes us very happy to announce his attendance at this year's Grossmann. |
